The cooking began and aroma filled the air. My gosh, we had everything from homemade pasta, stuffed pork, Cordon Bleu ... and the desserts... SOOO yummy, and filled with surprises! Chef Arthur Phillips has done a wonderful job teaching these students how to create under pressure!
I am so proud to have been able to bring this Top Chef Scholarship Challenge to East Lee County High School. Healthy Harvest Community Farms sponsored all of the food the students prepared tonight and the Greater Lehigh Acres Chamber of Commerce funded the scholarships. These are two GREAT organizations that are doing wonderful things in Lehigh. Get involved, it is a boatload of fun!
This was a night to behold. Healthy Harvest Community Farms sponsored the food, and the Lee County School District's Communication Department created a video (coming soon) and these 3 students cooked their hearts out!
Many thanks to Healthy Harvest Community Farms to being our Sponsor of this great event. By providing all of the food and extras, they assured this event could happen. We are so very happy to have them as great partners for the community.
